In this hands-on workshop, using a variety of tools, we will explore and experiment with some of the different techniques used in encaustic painting. Participants will learn how to lay down a foundation, mix colours, create texture, transfer images, embed found objects and much more. Throughout the workshop there will be demonstrations as well as discussions on health and safety practices, equipment and tools, and support options.
We will start the day off by tapping into our creativity and inner artists through a guided meditation.
